After high school I attended Columbia State Jr. College and then transferred to Florida Southern University. I majored in baseball all four years and came up short when they passed out the paper. Oh well, I did get to play in 4 national championship games and we won the NCAA National Tournament in 1975. I had one job and that was with UPS for the next 26 years. I was a training manager and loved working with people. I had too many back injuries and left with an early retirement. We moved to Florida in 2001 and I have lived the very best years of my life. I have three children - Taylor, Kyle, and Hunter. I started late so none have graduated. My daughter lives in Tennessee and my two sons live with me and Desiree in Florida. Des and I spend a lot of time following the boys to all sporting events. We have started a new church called Fellowship Church in Englewood, Florida. Our ministry is mentoring younger couples and helping them with financial needs. Desiree serves in the womens ministry and I have the mens ministry. Jesus said, in Matt 11:30 "His yoke is easy, and His burden is light." I have found this to be so true. We live in such a busy world. Jesus is the peace that surpasses all understanding. I hope you know that to be true in your life. See you at our next reunion.
