Subject: CLASS OF 1970 40TH REUNION - MESSAGE FROM CHUCK LAMINACK AND THE REUNION COMMITTEE
Fellow Classmates,
Time has certainly flown by. It seems that it was only a few years ago when we all were first around the campus of Bartlett High School.
During our first days on school grounds we were able to develop life-long relationships. Our experiences molded and prepared us for the lives we now currently enjoy.
We now have an opportunity to celebrate this unique experience that is our 40th reunion. So many alumni in the past have given so much of their time and passion into planning these reunions.
Please consider this letter an invitation to participate in the planning and organization of our reunion. I know that it is asking a lot, but we need your support. We all know that this endeavor is labor intensive. We NEED your input and help. We especially need help in finding classmates. Please forward this letter on to those classmates you are in touch with that may not have access to or knowledge of our websites.
We need class members to provide their preferred e-mail addresses and/ or phone numbers. This will greatly decrease the correspondence cost. We hope that many others will join in the planning and participation. We want to try to keep costs down so we welcome all comments and ideas. If you have any connections with venues, party planning, decorations, catering that will help to keep the reunion costs affordable for all, please let us know. Also, would ya’ll be open to the reunion being held in October 2010 around Bartlett’s Homecoming? The weather would be so much more pleasant. Other classes have stated their successes in having a fall reunion in, or around, mid-October. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2010!!
