SpringFest - Ocean City, MD
$139 per night plus tax
We had such a good time at the reunion, and in Williamsburg, VA a few years back, we planned another road trip for any interested classmates. Join the fun and come along! We’ll be in Ocean City May 4th through the 6th (Friday to Sunday) enjoying live music, a craft festival, seafood, and maybe a drink or two. Check out the Springfest link for all the official info on the event, one of the most popular festivals on the Eastern Shore: http://ococean.com/springfest
To make it nice and easy (and a little cheaper) we’ve reserved a limited number of discounted rooms at The Grand Hotel, an oceanfront resort on the north (quiet) end of the boardwalk. Cost is $139 per night plus tax for single or double occupancy; one night’s deposit is required at the time of reservation. Details on how to book a room and the link to the hotel’s website are at: http://www.grandhoteloceancity.com/ Call 800-447-6779 and use code 1982 to get the rate. Rooms are reserved for Friday and Saturday nights.
As we said, there are a LIMITED number of rooms! If you’re pretty darn sure you want to go and you want to stay at The Grand Hotel, you should make your reservation ASAP. You can cancel later (up to 72 hours prior) if something comes up and your deposit will be fully refunded. No-risk travel plans with some old friends…doesn't get much better than this!
HOWEVER, you can stay wherever you want and meet up with the rest of the group. We’ll make sure to include everyone in any plans when the time comes.
In October 1982, I went to work for the IRS in Martinsburg, WV. In May 1984, transferred to Letterkenny Army Depot. In June 2006, tranferred to Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. I have done just about everything there is with IT and Customer Service. In between all that working, I got married to my high-school sweetheart, had two kids, got a AA degree from HACC in Business Management-Computer Systems and foster/adopt boxers. Still like to have fun and do crazy things.
