I currently live in the Big Apple that's New York City!! I've been here for 14 years now pursuing Broadway and touring all over the world! Needless to say, that was always my passion and I first came to New York in 1992 to attend school for musical theater and that is where my professional career in theater really took flight after having done all of those long years of doing community theater back at home at Neuman College, Pennsylvania. I knew I had to go after my dream and I have no regrets! It's been an AMAZING journey...I've gone to places and have met the most incredible people along the way that have changed my life.....It was at school that I discovered I could sing opera and studied with Metropolitan Opera soprano, Ariel Bybee!! Well, me always loving to sing the popular music such as what's on the radio, musical theater songs and R&B and Gospel, I did not pursue a full pledged opera career. It's still there if I ever want it, good to know!! I've even tried being seen for American Idol, but at the time it first came out, there was an age limit of 24!!! Now I think the age limit is up to 28 or 30 - Damn, still too old, but I still look 25!!! Lord knows I've got the big mama pipes and can wail better than alot of the contestants!!! I've toured with Phantom of the Opera, Grease, and many many other shows!!
I worked with an opera buff who sung with Maria Callas - the most famous opera soprano ever! Money is great when you got the gig, but man, it is true what they say about show biz - it really is more than just a struggle -there are days where you just go without the luxuries that we take for granted!! But life is good!! Really good! I am currently working on several recording projects and in the midst of getting ready to go back out on tour again! It truly is the life!!! I've just been here pursuing my dream and it's been one hell of a ride!!!!
