I think my life is probably NOTHING like anyone would guess (nor I would have thought) - I live in rural Texas on 11 acres with four dogs and whatever they drag home to roll in. My house is not clean, to say the least. And I love it! My biggest hobby is gardening.
We didn't have children but are in the process of registering with CPS to become foster/adpotive parents. We are very excited and just finished six weeks of parenting classes!!! We have a few more steps to do before we are officially registered and after that, we have no idea of how long it will be before a child is placed with us.
My husband was in the Marine Corps when we married, and I moved to Jacksonville, NC and was there for about four years. From there we moved to Texas, where our best friends from the Corps are from. My husband is from Kansas and I wasn't moving there, so I couldn't ask him to move to PA - so we picked a neutral state!
