I went on to Lehigh after high school. I continued playing volleyball at Lehigh and also coached there as a graduate student. After getting my Masters in Secondary Education, I moved to Virginia Beach with my husband, Jack. We lived there for four years. A job change for my husband took us to Frederick, Maryland outside of DC. We lived there for three years. I taught high school history and coached volleyball in both locations. We had our first daughter while living in Maryland, and decided that we wanted to raise our kids with family around, so we moved back to Bethlehem.
My husband and I bought my grandmother's house and have spent our 6 years back in the valley, remodeling. We had our second daughter in 2004. I am teaching 11th graders at Freedom High School. I do some coaching, work as a class adviser and am the National Honor Society Adviser there. Besides the many little duties that go along with teaching, I spend most of my time with my kids' activities. I actually am one of my older daughter's Brownie troop leaders, cool huh?!?!?!
