Today's Featured Biography
Stephen Rogers
Jan and I just celebrated our 40th anniversary this past December 2008. We were married just after I enlisted in the USAF. Uncle Sam was very good to us compared to the many others who saw duty in SE Asia. Spent time in Monterey, CA, learning Mandarin, then San Angelo, TX, and finally 2 1/2 years in Japan. Our oldest daughter, Heather, was born in Japan. We returned home in 1972 and I completed school at the University of Akron. BA 1974. JD 1979. Jen was born in 1978.
We moved to Canton, CT in 1980. I was employed by Industrial Risk Insurers for 26 years, my last position being Sr.V.P. Claims. I joined my current firm in early 2001 and have spent the better part of the last eight years representing insurance companies in connection with the 9/11 attack on the NY World Trade Center.
Our four grandchildren, Ashley (9 1/2 yrs.), Isabella (5 yrs.) Owen (3 yrs.)and Aiden (6 mos.) are a great joy.
