Today's Featured Biography
CHARLES ZACHARY
I'm a LIFE Adventurist..I was born and raised in the Boston area. I graduated from Nashua (NH) Senior High School 20 years ago. Following high school, I enlisted in the US Army Military Police Corps for 3 LONG years. I had a Top Secret Clearance and saw a few deployments in my day. Essentially doing what I HAD to do, when I NEEDED to do it. That's the Army for you in a nutshell. Following my military stint, I started my college journey with ambitions of earning a Bachelor's Degree (and eventually a Law Degree). I also embarked on a career in the legal profession. I attended both Bunker Hill CC and the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Due to the frustration and restraints of being a student and self-supportive soloist, I made a life decision and accepted an invitation from my aunties to move to the metro Detroit area and pursue my academics on a full-time basis. I enrolled at Macomb CC where I earned a Associate's Degree in General Studies. I was also fortunate enough to have been able to play 2 years of Division II JUCO basketball (always a dream of mine to play college basketball). I then enrolled at Wayne State University in Detroit, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science finishing with a 3.48 GPA and gaining Cum Laude honors. Following graduation, at the behest of some great friends I had grown up with in Boston (and who had successfully re-located to Florida) I moved down to Miami Beach to LIVE THE VIDA LOCA. Needless to say, Miami Beach is PARADISE !!! I'm also blessed to be able to speak and understand espanol (SPANISH) almost fluently, making for a more enjoyable Miami experience. I LOVE that place and hope to get back there permanently, someday . Unfortunately, it became necessary for me to relocate back up north in 2005 (the 2004 hurricane season scared the heck out of me). Currently, I'm back in the Metro Detroit area for an indeterminite period of time. I am in my third year of playing semi-professional football with a team called the Macomb County Strength. An organization my little brother, Brian established in 2004. I love the camaraderie and the ability to share my wisdom with my (much) younger teammates. Plus, the ability to still play rough and tough organized sports, at my age, is definitely an ego booster !! Since I've been back in Michigan, I've been employed as a senior paralegal for a corporate defense firm named Zanetti, John & Brown, PC located in Southfield, Michigan ( just outside Detroit) and working part-time for the Palace Sports and Entertainment in the Guest Sevices department. I would say I'm a good guy to know if you dig sports and concerts. I have opportunity to work ALL sporting events and attend any concert I desire. In conclusion, I love to travel (I've traveled extensively), sharing time with my friends and loved ones and just enjoying my life. I'm a major sports enthusiast. I love my Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. However, I've got some love for my Detroit and Miami homies. Eventually, it is my intent to get my butt into law school within the next year or two. I eventually want to practice law in Massachusetts, but I have an open mind, and have considered getting into the teaching profession. Anyway, this Peter Pan life has to end sometime, right ? We'll see where tomorrow brings me. That's the great thing I love about life. The undiscovered. I hope you enjoyed this little piece of me. Thanks for visiting. Be well.

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
