Today's Featured Biography
Christopher Kelley
After graduation I took a year and a half off school, and continued working in the restaurant industry. I worked for 17 years, starting at age 15, at numerous establishments, from fast food to fine dining, starting as a dishwasher to head waiter, and manager. I was also a career college student, working nights to pay for college on my own. Let's say I was not very motivated to get the job done fast, I was having fun partying, hunting, fishing. I attended U.N.O. for years part time as a biology major, and eventually after years at this snails pace, I got off my ass and worked really hard to reach my goal of becoming a dentist like my Father. I met my wife Barb in 1994, and we married in 1998. I graduated with B.S. in biology in 2000, and I attended 1 year of graduate school at U.N.O. I was FINALLY accepted to Creighton Dental School in 2001 after 3 years of applying, and after 4 years of blood, sweat and tears I graduated with my D.D.S. in 2005. Barb and I moved to Minnesota in 2005 to be closer to Barb's family, and I worked for a year at a corporate dental clinic. October 2006 I opened my own dental clinic from scratch, which Barb and I designed ourself. We live in Shorewood, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis, and our office is 30 minutes away in a rapidly growing area. I fish and hunt up here all the time for fun. Barb and I are expecting our first baby in December. Life keeps getting better all the time.....
