J Uhlmann
I have a Construction Management degree from UNL and have been in the construction industry since graduating from college.
I currently am employed as an estimator with Ayars & Ayars, Inc. in Lincoln and Omaha.
I have been married to Amy since 1996, we have two great daughters:
Reagan 10 who loves soccer, gymnastics, anything sports, math and reading. Her sense of humor is exactly like her dads, I know what she is going to do before she does it (scary).
Lilly 7 is a little princess (total opposite of big sister). She loves to chase big sister and read.
Thanks to my wife, my kids love to read and love school. Also thanks to my wife, I have been the PTA president of the PTA at my childrens school for the last three years. I am also involved in the Nebraska and National PTA's. So any dads out there, if you have a PTA at your school, get involved, it really makes a difference with male involvement. You moms are great, but there is just something about having a dad helping out with the childs school. Anyway, if anyone is interested in finding out more about PTA or getting involved with school feel free to contact me.
