After high school, I attended Mankato State University in Minnesota and graduated with a BS degree in 1975. I met my wife Laurie while attending college and we were married in November of 1975. We have 3 children, Chris, Susan & John and 4 grandchildren, James, Michael, Kaitlynn and Madeline, with a fifth one due in August of 2021.
Similar to my father, I had a long career as a banker, working for a suburban bank in Omaha, moving to work for a rural bank in Southern Minnesota in 1980, and moving to Central Wisconsin in 1985 where I worked for two banks. While I am still active on the bank board of directors, I retired from banking in the Spring of 2019.
Interests include outdoors activities including hiking/camping, fishing and golf. Also traveling, photography and spending time with family.
