Today's Featured Biography
Tammy Mulske
I have spent much of the past ten years in Grand Forks. After graduating with a degree in Music Education, I taught grades 5-12 band in Onida, SD. Quickly realizing that teaching was not my field, I re-entered UND to pursue a degree in Information Systems. After two years of school, the Music Department hired me as their Technology and Marketing Supervisor, a title that doesn't completely describe my job, which includes caring for all the technology in the department, coordinating the marketing efforts, managing the building, and general office duties as needed to back up the other office personnel.
In addition to my normal workday tasks, I serve as the Assistant Director for UND's Marching/Athletic Bands. Though I followed sports casually in high school, I have become an avid fan of hockey, football, basketball, and many other sports. I still enjoy playing my clarinet, but I play tenor saxophone much more often.
I look forward to seeing many of you this coming summer! It's hard to believe that ten years have flown so quickly.
