Today's Featured Biography
Wayne Hall
I met the love of my life, Judy, at Lake Lure (a special place for us) in 1964. After graduating from NC State, we married in1967.
This is my profile as seen by my deceased classmates in their memory. Wayne was my boyfriend in both 7th and 8th grades; I was 6 to 8 inches taller than he and we got kidded a lot about having to kiss while on different steps: Patsy Gosnell. We played on the same baseball teams since 7th grade but one year I couldn't play because I cut my big toe off with a lawnmower: Ricky Hutcherson. I was the preacher's son; I still remember us gettting in trouble in Sunday school and being put in a special class for misbehaving: Jimmy Jones. I started out in this class but fell back one year; I was with Wayne when he met Judy at Lake Lure; we really enjoyed the summers of '64, '65'&'66 with those Charlotte girls: Wayne Johnson.
My profile as seen by my current classmates. After college when we had both graduated from engineering school I would travel to West Virigina on business and visit in the home of Wayne ane Judy: Hugh Walker. I always found out updates about Wayne from my uncle, Larry Ashley; it is no wonder they are such close friends based on what they have in common: married their school sweethearts, each have 2 children, retired from the same company, worship in the same church, travel together, each have 3 granchildren: Keith Ormand. During our days in grammer school we road bikes together, in high school we double dated together in Wayne's convertible, a few years ago took a great vacation together to Alaska, Larry Ashley.
Judy and I look forward to seeing everyone at our 50th reunion enjoying time together at both the football field and of course time together at Lake Lure.
