Oh, we all look so old! Because I never really kept up with anyone from South, you all were still young in my memory... kind of a shock when I accidently found this website.
As for me, I went to MU and studied Forestry (yes, forestry) and Ecology. A little bored with Missouri (and college) I joined the Air Force which was both fun and challenging. I lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Spangdahlem, Germany for three years. A tour of duty in Saudi Arabia cured be of the Air Force itch but still loved living and traveling around Europe. In 1999, I came home to KC for a "visit" and met my future husband, Luke. A couple months later I was married and the step-Mom to wonderful Joshua. In fact, I was married at my Mom's house just down the street from Ray South. A newly dedicated Raytownian, I "settled down" and then along came my daughter Olivia in 2001 and my son Will in 2003.
Currently, I am finishing up graduate coursework and my thesis in Environmental History at UMKC where I work as a TA. My students love hearing about the college "old days" when the bigger the hair bow, the better and R.E.M. was "edgy." Anyway, I will eventually have to decided what I want to be when I grow up. I let you know what I figure out...
