James Echols

After graduation, I attended the University of Missouri and graduated with my B.A. in Communication and a minor in Business, May 2008. During college, I worked for a non-profit organization helping at-risk youth find employment and teaching them skills to further their lives and become contributing members to society. I worked with Ray J in 2005 as a moderator of his official messageboard and helped with promotion for his 3rd album Raydiation. I also started managing a rapper from Missouri and a producer based out of Chicago. A month after college graduation I moved to New Jersey to pursue my goals of working in the music industry. I'm currently interning with an independent record label and also working in the sales department for a media placement firm where I help clients & agencies plan national advertising campaigns specifically for print and online media outlets. On the weekends, I work for a local hotel (paying off school loans, lol). I'm fairly busy as I do work 7 days a week and rarely get any sleep. If working isn't enough, in my downtime, I'm planning a few businesses that I hope to get started late 2010 or early 2011. I'm almost certain I won't be able to attend the reunion as it will be right around the time when I will be moving into a new apartment, but I will say I miss so many of my former classmates and I wish you all success and happiness.
