Frances Devenport Holmes
We currently live in Lehi UT. We have been here since February 2011. Prior to that we lived in Moscow, Russia doing humanitarian work throughout Eastern Europe. We were there for two years.
Prior to Russia we lived for 12 years in Albuquerque New Mexico and thoroughly enjoyed the culture there.
Prior to New Mexico we spent 12 years in Boise Idaho.
I moved to Provo Utah in 1971 and completed a BA and and MA at BYU in math education. I taught at a junior high, a high school, a middle school, BYU and Boise State. Mostly I enjoyed being a wife and mother.
We have 26 grandchildren. All of our families live within 25 minutes of our home so we have great get togethers.
Our children have served missions in Hong Kong, Sapporo Japan, Kyoto Japan, Mexico City and Los Angeles (working with the deaf). So far our grandchildren have served in Brazil, Ukraine, Peru and the Philippines.
My husband retired from 37 years of being a United Way exe.
He enjoys racquet ball and keeps very active. He is a great support to me.
