(A) The 40th all school reunion had been two years in the planning. We sincerely hope that you will join us for this celebration of life and help us to develop old friendships and establish new ones. All activities are to take place outside, in the summer, in a controlled environment, where we can gather and have some fun. Please join us because this is going to be a lot of fun and very memorable event. You will kick yourself later, if you dont show up!

(B) The Closed/Open Golf Tournament (8:00AM 2:00PM)

Willow Creek Golf Course will host a best ball golf tournament with a shotgun start at 8:30AM. Besides green fees, a $5 entry fee will be collected to pay for all the awards (gift cards for various establishments). Some of the award categories will include: Best overall team score, best foursome for of the three schools, longest drive (front & back nine), closest to the pin (front & back nine), longest putt, closest to pin without going in on the 18th hole. All awards to be presented at the Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester, MN following the event. Of course you must be present to win. CONTACT THE CLASS ADIMINISTRATOR LISTED ON THE WEB SITE TO SIGN UP FOR GOLF. (C) Bowling? ??(11:00AM 2:00PM)??

Not everyone may be interested in golfing, so if youre are interested in bowling, we could arrange to have a local bowling alley available from 11:00AM 2:00PM. This currently IS NOT setup yet, so if you are interested in this activity, let us know ASAP. If enough people are interested, we will take care of the arrangements. PLEASE CONTACT THE CLASS ADMINISTRTOR LISTED ON THE WEB SITE, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOWLING.

(D) The Peace Plaza (4:00PM 11:00PM)

The Peace Plaza includes a covered stage for the band and ample lighting for the evening hours. Beginning at 2:00 PM, we will section off this area and adapt it for our own use. This one block area also includes the Peace Plazas sound system. Outdoor speakers every 30 feet that provide stereophonic sound and is hooked up to a five disc CD Changer. The crisp sound of the music can be easily heard, no matter where you are in the Peace Plaza. One lucky classmate will go home with 40 CDs of some of the best music from the Beetles, going forward. WE ALSO INTEND ON DONATING 40 CDs TO SEASONS HOSPICE (On Behalf Of The Class Of 1971), TO ADD TO THEIR MUSIC LIBARY. They can then (at their discretion), play them back for their residents, going forward. IF YOU WISH TO DONATE ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE CDS, TO THE SEASONS HOSPICE MUSIC LIBARY, BRING IT WITH YOU. PLEASE NOTE: DO TO COPY RIGHT LAWS, IT MUSH BE A STORE BOUGHT CD!!!

(E) Martinis At The Kahler Grand Hotel (2:00PM 11:00PM)

They will roll out their bar into the Peace Plaza, next to the stage. They will serve mixed drinks, wine and keg beer. They offer a full bar and specialize in (guess what), Martinis. Their grill is also available for late night snacks. One of the original themes of the 40th Class Reunion was and is to provide a kegor type atmosphere, in an outdoor setting, where we dont necessarily have to drive home from afterwards. It goes without saying, but please be responsible and note that there is a cab stand located right next to the Peace Plaza (if needed).

(F) Victorias Restorante & Wine Bar (5:00P M 7:30PM)

They have the best Italian food in Rochester! The dinner items were carefully chosen off their menu. POLLO BIANCO Chicken or Pork sauted in a white cream sauce with mushrooms, prosciutto ham and mozzarella cheese, served over a bed of pasta. A salad, dressing and dinner roll is included in the price of admission, along with your first beverage. Please make sure you indicate whether you want Chicken or Pork, when paying via the Pay Pal Link on the web site & or contact the CLASS ADMINISTRATOR to let him or her know your choice for dinner. For those with special dietary needs, contact Ken Rosemark, to arrange for alternative dinner options. If you wish to pay with a check, send it to Ken Rosemark at the C.O. Brown Agency, Inc. 2048 Superior Drive NW Rochester, Minnesota 55901. Payable to: The 1971 Rochester Grads.

(G) The Band (7:30 PM 11:00 PM A number of the members of THE TEX PISTOLS BAND are fellow alumni of the Mayo High School Class Of 1971. Back in the 70s they were in a band called JUDD. Back then they were good enough to open for national acts such as Lynard Skynard (among others). They have mellowed down a bit, but the quality of their music has improved with time. Visit their web site to learn more about them and listen to some of their current music. Weve been told that they may even have a new CD out by the time of The 40th Class Reunion???

(H) The Web Site

Weve chosen this web site because it allows us to gather up information about classmates from each school. Whether you plan on attending or not, please go to the web site and provide us with your address, contact information (phone number, e-mail, etc.). The cost to mail invites for all three schools is over $450.00. We want to eliminate this cost once and for all, so please make sure you register. We intend to keep this link up indefinitely, so that you can go to it at any time, to locate a friend/classmate from the past. PLEASE NOTE: IT WILL BE UP TO YOU TO KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT, GOING FORWARD. While its not Facebook, its more secure. Also, tell us a little about yourself, since high school. Once you are on this site, please click on the missing classmates page too. Help us to locate these missing alumni and forward this invitation to them. There will be a Pay Pal Link setup to make the payment via debt or credit card. At the time of making your payment, there should also be an area in which you can indicate your dinner choice or contact the CLASS ADMINISTRTOR and let him or her know your dinner choice (Chicken or Pork)???

  1. Questions: We would like everything to be handled through the web site. However, if you have any questions, please get a hold of one of the committee members listed below. You can find their contact information at the links listed above or contact Ken Rosemark at [email protected]. You can also leave a message for him by calling 507-287-6516 in the evening or 1-800-288-3715 during business hours. This 800 number can even be used after business hours. Just leave a message with the answering service and he will call you back. Management has requested that you use the (800) sparingly, during the day because it is designed for business use.

(J) The 40th Class Reunion Committee takes pride in offering up this event. Now it is up to you, to HOPEFULLY, join us!!! We will need at least 200 people to break even on this event. We believe that we can easily, more than double this minimum. We hope trust and pray that you are all in good health and blessed with much happiness!!!! Thank you in advance for supporting this event!!! Remember to register!! Hope to see you all soon! The 40th Class Reunion Members are as follows: FROM JOHN MARSHLL HIGH SCHOOL Chris Badger, Steve Borchardt, Marie Huntington, Vicki Schoonover, Pat Steiger and Chuck Dixon.
