After working as a secretary at Hosterman Junior High school in New Hope for 28 years, I retired in 1989 along with my husband who was a teacher at Hosterman. I almost immediately was offered a job in the District 28l administration office where I worked in the curriculum department and then became the Title One secretary. I retired again in 1995 and began too work at Mervyns in Brookdale as an auditor. When the Minn. Mervyns stores were closed, I was transfer to Target in Br. Park. After I year, I again retired. I am now the bookkeeper at my church, Lutheran Church of the Master in Brooklyn Center. I also worked as a chemical dependency technician at Hazelden Pioneer House on Medicine Lake for 10 years, working with patients and their families.
I have one daughter who is the mother of a 16 year old girl and 9 year old boy-girl twins.
My husband died 12 years ago after suffering with diabetes, congestive heart failure and many other physical problems. I miss him greatly but keep my life very busy. I live with my kitty, Bingo in New Brighton.
