After I graduated, I went to University of Michigan, graduating in 1968 with a BBA. Then I went to MSU for my MBA which I received in 1969. I moved to Troy MI to work for Armour Dial. After 11 months there, I switched to the insurance business with Connecticut General in Southfield. In 1983, I went into business for myself and started NAPCO (Pappas Financial), located in Farmington Hills, MI. Our business now covers estate planning, investments and benefits planning.
I married Susie in 1971 and we have three children (Leslie b. 1974, Dan b. 1976 and Amy b.1981). Leslie is married to Nat and they have four beautiful daughters. Luckily for us, they live in Southfield and we get to spend lots of time with our grandkids, which is a highlight of our lives. Dan lives in Portland, OR and Amy lives in Chicago, IL.
I play tennis three times a week and participate in USTA tournaments in oder to keep a ranking in Michigan and the Midwest.
Susie and I enjoy summers in Michigan where we like to play golf often. We like to travel and get away to Florida when we can in the winter.
We look forward to seeing old friends at the reunion this summer.
