Today's Featured Biography

 

 
Shawn O'Connell

Left Maine for the Army. Found I had a knack for technology. I met my wife while I was stationed at a research lab in Natick, MA. Married for 23 years. Those of you who know me know that she is my guardian angel. :-) I have two teenage daughters who retired from softball and moved onto field hockey. I also have two female dogs. I am surrounded by women and I would not have it any other way. The family loves to hike the mountains of NE and bike the rails to trails in the summer and ski in the winter. Lived in and around Boston for 28 years. Settled in Rhode Island.
Worked in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering for 20 years. (hospital, research, and industry) Left in the booming 90's to join a software startup. For the last 7 years I have worked in Boston for Iron Mountain in their IT organization. Currently the Director of Technology Programs.
I never left the Army. After 4 years active I joined the Reserves. Traveled the world from El Salvador to Kazakhstan. Retired a Chief Warrant Officer III.
I made the 5th and 15th reunion. I am not sure I will be able to make 30th. I will try!
Jim Driscoll still owes me $10 from the Cage.
