Today's Featured Biography
Anthony Passonno
Well, here's an up to date biography covering much of my activity after my school years.
You may remember me as something of a "freak" in the sense that I didn't seem to fit in with any of the more popular amongst our schoolmates, yet I did have a few friends, though, frankly names escape me at the moment(sorry!).
I unfortunately did not graduate, as life at home was intolerable for many reasons, thus I entered the US Army(for financial reasons)and was discharged three months later for medical reasons.
After that, I drifted off into the KC area Punk scene, where at the time I discovered other self-realized alienated "freaks" and had a great time hanging with some wonderful people.
I ended up hooking up with road buddy and rode the rails(like a true hobo!) making it to San Francisco in time for the big quake, and volunteered with The Red Cross to help those less fortunate than myself.
Having been bitten by the traveling bug, I hopped around, back and forth around the country on freight trains and the interstate seeing America.
In 1989, I made it to Seattle purely by accident, and besides the occasional homesickness, have made the beautiful Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest my home for almost twenty years.
As for accomplishments, I can say my proudest is a continuing legacy proudly carrying my family name into the Twenty-First century as an Experimental/Avant-Garde Composer, Writer, and quite brilliant Cook/Chef.
Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to write my biography, as it has given me much to reflect on.
Greetings to friends who remember me (again, sorry I don't remember names at the moment), others who don't, and those who thought I was a little weird! (You were right, ya BASTARDS!)
I hope this finds you all well, happy and successful.
