Today's Featured Biography
Michael Danner
I have lived in Phoenix for the past 27 years, and have been married to my wife Denise for the past 22years. We have a beautiful daughter, Samantha who will be off to the University of Arizona in August.
I’ve worked for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for 23 years, and have had the best time ever. I can’t believe the time has gone by so fast. I’ve had a great career ranging from working our jail system, opening Tent City, starting the Chain Gang, patrol in our extremely large county, search and rescue missions, teaching our drug resistance program at the elementary schools, being a member of our Honor Guard, and currently assigned as a detective in our intelligence division.
I was fortunate to be deployed to the Rodeo-Chediski Fire in 2002, the Cave Creek Complex Fire in 2005, and Hurricane’s Katrina and Rita in 2005, and being able to present our Nation’s Colors for former President Bush on two different occasions. I’ve also had the pleasure of conducting dignitary protection for Rudy Giuliani during the 2001 World Series (Diamondbacks vs Yankees, best ever) and Cal Ripken Jr. during the Fiesta Bowl in 2002.
So as you can see, I’ve had the best life ever and don’t see it ending any time soon. I hope to see more of you in the future, so please stay in touch.
