SAVE THE DATE - “55TH FOR 55 “ - A reunion dinner is planned for Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Oak Park Country Club. There will be lots of fun throughout the evening and some surprises for sure! There's plenty to do in the area, if you're coming from out of town we can supply a list of events and activities along with a list of local inns in the community. Today's Featured Biography
Roberta Bartels Johanson
Attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL for 3 years; then attended Cook County School of Nursing for 2 years--got married before I finished either one. After my boys were about 8 and 10 I went back to school, attending Harper College in Palatine, IL and finished my nursing. I then embarked on a 28 year vocation of hospital nursing working at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. After I retired in 2002 I became a retirement junkie--I love it! Travel is the main item on my agenda, along with my husband. Two biological grandkids and two step-grandkids, all in their 20s.
