Today's Featured Biography
Susan Lamoree Walker
After graduating from Indiana Univ., with a degree in Public and Environmental Affairs (never used this degree and, in hindsight, wish I had.), I went into the advertising/publishing business. Eventually, I realized I wanted (and needed) a change so I moved to Tampa, FL. It must have been fate, I met my husband poolside. While in FL, I fell into the property management industry. After 3 yrs in FL, we moved back to Chicago. I stayed in the business until the birth of our first child. After a long, arduous journey trying to have her, she surprised us by arriving 2 weeks early on September 11, 2001. Our second daughter (again an arduous journey) came on the first day of spring 2006. I have been home with the girls and now, with Gabi starting Kindergarten, I am on a mission to get our home organized (LOVE getting rid of "stuff") and finding a fun (very important), part-time job.
