Kristin Hoskins

After high school, I attended Parkland for a few short months until I became pregnant with identical twin girls in November 1998. After doing a lot of soul searching, I decided with my given circumstances that my little girls would have a better quality of life if I chose a family for them. So, in May of 1999, I moved to West Palm Beach, FL to be with my Mom and pursue adoption.

I spent a great deal of time researching adoption attorneys and agencies and finally picked a family for my little ones. After giving birth to two beautiful little girls, I fell in love. I took them home with me for 17 days and then realized that I was not the best provider emotionally, financially, etc. for these little angels. I called my attorney back and placed my twins with their new family on August 26, 1999. I have kept in contact with the family periodically and can receive pictures and letters at any time. They live in southern Florida. Can you believe my Mom and stepdad bumped into them and their family while boating on Mother's Day 2005? I call that fairy dust...a lil sprinkle to let me know that all is well.

I have worked and paid my way through college. I earned my associates degree in 2003. I am six classes shy of a Bachelor's in Communication. I started at my current place of employement as a cocktail server seven years ago. I have held many other jobs to supplement, but no longer have to do that. I just earned a huge promotion!

I am now the Luxury Suites Manager at the St. Pete Times Forum...home to NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning and the largest concert venue in the area! I am finishing up my Bachelor's August 2008 and will start my Master's in Hosptality Management in the Spring of 2009. 11 years after high school graduation...not bad eh?!? LOL

I truly love living in Florida and will let ya'll keep the snowy weather. :) I'll come home to visit every now and again, but as for scraping the ice off my windshield...uh no thanks!

I met the love of my life in May '07, and I knew instantly that he was the one! His name is Courtney. He's taking a year off of Pharmacy school, however I told him he has to get back to work asap. LOL I will have lots of drug requests from my crazy friends. hehe We adopted the most adorable chihuahua together in June '07. Her name is Dolce, and she thinks that she's a St. Bernard with the amount of space she takes up in bed.
