The picnic will probably be held at the Central City Lions Park, but the committee has not made a decision on the location. The picnic will have plenty of activities for the kids and is intended to be a wholesome, family-oriented event. No alcohol will be served out of respect for the kids. |

Today's Featured Biography
Michelle Sidwell Dalton
Hello All.
I graduated in the summer of 1988 because I was in a hurry to get out of dodge! And had met my future husband already.
I married in 1989. Went to ISU for about a year and a half, had Hannah and then came home to Centralia and went to KC for my RN degree.
I have been in Normal since then and worked 71/2 years at a nursing home, I became the Assistant Director of Nurses and then found a job with OSF and I was an office nurse for the past 6 years.
I will be starting a new position for OSF this August and I will be the Anticoagulation Nurse.
So I am going back to school for 6 weeks.
I also taught at Heartland Community College. I taught a CNA class. I taught them their skills and then went with them to the clinical setting.
My husband has his own business, Signs Direct, an internet company and has 2 employees.
Still have family in Centralia and make it to town almost once a month.
Thanks to Missy for all her hard work and organizational skills.
