I have not really moved too far from Dubuque. I went to college at UNI, where I met my now husband Ryan, and after receiving a degree in Public Relations I took a temp job with MCI in Cedar Rapids and began doing desktop support. I am now a desktop supervisor with AEGON in Cedar Rapids.
While I was in college my parents and two younger sisters moved to Austin, TX. In between working at MCI and AEGON I was a stay at home mom and we attempted to move to Austin, but I was offered a position with AEGON that I couldn't turn down. So now Ryan and my three kids, Hannah (10), Logan (7) and Sophia (4) and I are stuck forever shoveling snow.
We, like everyone else, are a busy family. Ryan is a manager for Target distribution in Cedar Falls and we live in Marion (3 blocks from Keri Hird). He works weekends full time and is a stay at home dad Tues.-Friday. So, he actually has two full time jobs. Hannah is very active with swim team while my other two Logan and Sophia love any sport or activity you enroll them in. Logan is mostly interested in basketball and baseball and Sophia just may end up being a linebacker for the HAWKS! GO HAWKS!
