Today's Featured Biography
Andrew Prichard
Andrew Prichard was born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 30, 1953. Andrew moved to St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 12 attending Tyrone Junior High and then Boca Ciega High School.
At Bogie Andrew was involved in music and acting. Andrew was a member of Mixed Chorus, Choir, Bakers Dozen and a male quartet called the Bogie Men. Andrew was in the cast of Music Man in his sophomore year and played the romantic lead "Woody" in Finian's Rainbow in his senior year. Andrew graduated from Boca Ciega in 1971.
After high school Andrew went into business, settling on the construction industry. Andrew attended a 4 year carpenters apprenticeship program with Associated Builders and Contractors. Andrew became a journeyman carpenter, a State Licensed Class "A" General Contractor, a Florida Licensed Realtor, a State of Florida Licensed Building Inspector, and a Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector.
Through these years Andrew served as President of Hammer & Howell Builders, Inc. Spray-Crete Industries, Inc., AARK Design Build, Inc., Tampa General Contracting, Inc., and Tampa Music Academy, Inc. Andrew has built over 800 Commercial Projects and custom homes.
Andrew's community service includes Chairmanship of the Carpentry Committee for the Association of Building and Contractors, Member of ABC All Trades School Board, Vice President of a Tampa Christian Counseling Ministry, Trustee Hillsdale Baptist Church, Chairman of four Building Committees for Hillsdale Baptist Church, Hernando Christian Academy,and Spring Hill Baptist Church. Member of the School Board of Hernando Christian Academy, Boca Ciega Alumni Committee, Boca Ciega Class of "71" Reunion Committee. And President of BocaCiegaAlumni.com, Inc.
Currently Andrew is the President of Arthur Rutenberg Homes Service Corp.
Andrew also works on the Boca Ciega Class of "71" Reunion Committee and Serves on The Boca Ciega Alumni committee as it's Web Master.
Andrew has three grown children and six grandchildren. Andrew is married to Piper Todsen also from the class of 71'.
