Today's Featured Biography
Tony Vetter
After Graduation, I continued on with the Lee County Emergency Medical Services and was fortunate to attend the first Paramedic class in Lee County and be in on the foundation of the best EMS-ALS systems in the Country. Went into Law Enforcement in 1977 and was lucky enough to make it through the next 26 years and retired in January of 2005 with just over 30 years total EMS/Law Enforcement. The highlight of the peaks and valleys of my Law Enforcement career, was graduating from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA in 1993. I now investigate insurance fraud with Sentry Insurance.
The highlight of my life has been my marriage to my wonderful wife of 30 years, Kathy, yes; I will say it, a graduate of Cypress Lake High, and lifelong resident of Lee County; she is my foundation. She has given me three beautiful children (2 daughters and our son). I have two other daughters that I was blessed with and I think of constantly from my heart that I have not seen for 30 years because of the trials and tribulations of life. They remain in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
Our children have grown into beautiful, productive young adults. Our oldest graduated from College at UNF and she has given us our newest joy of life, our first Grandchild, Nolan. Our son is a Commissioned Officer/Captain current grade, in the U.S. Army. Our youngest graduated from the Lee County School system 2011(as the last of our family to do so) and she graduates with her Masters from UF in April and will become an Elementary Teacher...in Lee County.
My joy now is riding my Harley on long trips.
Long live the Alumni of the Fort Myers High School Greenwave. �MHS!�
