I got married September 2, 1967, to Frank Schafer, a brother to my high school girlfriend, Kathy Schafer. We will be married 40 years this September. We had a daughter, Heather Dawn, in 1973, whom we lost to SIDS. We adopted our son, Brandon Eli, in 1980. He is 27 and got married in June 2007. We will be grandparents for the first time by December, 2007. Can't wait. My husband retired from the United States Post Office after 32 years of service and currently does seasonal work for RTD. I have worked several jobs over the years, but have been at an insurance agency for the past 8 years. We have property in Yuma, AZ and some day hope to retire there, at least for 4 months out of the year. I am still friends with Brenda Rock & Darlene Ford. We are the best of friends. Brenda is in Lake Havasu, AZ, Darlene, Aurora, CO. I am happy. I guess it doesn't get any better than that!! Jeanie (McLaughlin) Schafer.
