I got married in 1965 to Judy Wiest in Dinuba, California after a hitch in the Navy aboard a destroyer where I was the ship's baker. We had two boys. The oldest is Jeff (41) and lives in Lincoln, CA. James (35) lives in Fresno. I got divorced in 1991 and was remarried in 1994 to Jeanette Stockdale. I found the love of my life, and we have been married going on 17 years. I was in sales most of my life and I loved what I did. After being on the road for 35 years covering the Western U.S. calling on law enforcement agencies, I finally gave it up. I am now writing a book on my experiences in Germany during the war, doing artwork, and volunteering at a hospital one day a week. I love retirement because I get to do all the things I never had time to do. Both of my sisters live in Colorado, one in Arvada, and the other in Fort Collins. By attending I can “kill two birds with one stone”, so I plan to attend unless my schedule should change.
