Today's Featured Biography
David Ritchie
- 1976, graduated Fremont High School
- 1977-1981 messed around at De Anza College
- 1977-1985 worked (if you can call it that)full time as a professional musician (guitar player/singer), including (culminating in)4 year stint with SHANCHIE, folks singers extraordinaire playing Celtic folk music throughout California, the USA and the world and recoding several albums.
- 1985 started working a day job doing pavement maintenance sales and project management.
- 1986 married Ronna, the girl (now woman) of my dreams.
- 1985-1991 (ish) struggled to get good at pavement maintenance sales, being married and being a grown up in general.
1992-present: gradually got better at pavement maintenance sales, being married and being a grown up in general.
1987-2010 worked with singer/song writer Robert Goldsborough, resulting in over 150 songs (at least 60 of which are good and at least 25 of which are really good), 3 albums of original material and the documentary about Mr. Goldsborough "Mr. Spazzman".
A person's strengths and their weaknesses are usually the same things. One of mine is that once I start doing something, I keep on doing it. That has worked pretty well in that; with varying levels of success and struggle, dedication and sloth I have continuously; stayed married to and in love with Ronna, believed in and admired Jesus, attended church, worked in pavement maintenance sales, played, sung, written and recorded music and befriended performed for and with and served (in Christ) disabled people. It has worked out less well with regard to some other behaviors, but thankfully nothing catastrophic.
God bless you and yours.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
