We can only play six minutes of our video at a time, that's what all 'free' video hosting websites provide.
We are trying to cut our 50th Reunion DVD video up in six minuet pieces to view one piece at a time.
For those of you that are interested, let me tell you what that involves. There are many Video formats such as .mov .avi .mp4 .wmv and more, first we had to find a format that our Class Site will except, then convert our DVD Video to that format,(we found a free trail version program to do that, you don't want to know what the paid version costs!) also we needed a Video Editor Program to cut our 1 hour and 20 minuet DVD Video up into 6 minuet pieces, but first we had to learn how to use the Video Editor Program!!! Once we learned that, then we have to export the 6 minuet segment by embedding it to code so we can paste it to a window on our Class Website,(not any code will work!) once that's done we should see the 6 minute Video playing on our Class Site, only there's a problem! we still can't figure out how to get the sound to work!!!
Thank you Shirley for volunteering your time to this site.
I have bee married to Richard for 40 years. We are currently both retired. I retired 3 years ago after 33 years in education as a teacher and principal in Bonita and Walnut Valley Unified School District. Currently I'm coaching elementary principals and am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the foster care system. I received my doctorate in education in 2000 and have taught at the University of La Verne.
We have three grandchildren, Joshua 9 years old, Justin 6 years old, and Julia 4 years old from our daughter Tamara and son-in-law Michael. Tamara taught for years before children and Michael is currently starting his own business. Kimberly, our second daughter, adopted a little boy last year and Samuel is now one years old. Kimberly is a paralegal and works in family law.
We love to vacation together and share memories in our cabin in Big Bear. We have been blessed with successful careers and a loving family.
