Today's Featured Biography
Lori Gierke Crenshaw
After high school I went to Fullerton College where I studied Child Development. During college my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away in 1990. After a brief break I graduated with my Associate Degree in Child Development in 1992. I took a position as an Assistant Director at a child care center in Newport Beach. Jim and I were married in 1994. After tiring of the commute from LaHabra to Newport every day, I took a far less stressful position as a private nanny for a family in Anaheim Hills. I worked for this family until Jim took a promotion that relocated us to Winston Salem, NC in 1998. After the culture shock wore off(everything moves EXTREAMLY slow in the south), we settled into a wonderful life here. I have two wonderful boys, Brady(8)and Riley(4) and enjoy working part-time as a Fitness Trainer and the flexibility of being able to spend lots of time with my boys. I also run a small business from my home making custom ceramic hand and foot impressions of children.
Update 6/22-- It was so great seeing everyone again! Jim and I had a great time and can't wait to see everyone at the next one, maybe 5-10 years from now! I know it will be here before we all know it. Thank you to all the committe members for doing such a great job. It was a blast!
Update 11/15-- It has been great keeping in touch with new and old friends again. Facebook and this site are great catalysts to find all those long lost Raiders. I hope to keep in touch with all of you for many years to come. If you want to write to me, check out my Facebook page.
