If you did not pay for the reunion and want a copy of the DVD, please mail a check for $5 to Renda to the address listed below. Everyone who paid for Saturday's reunion will be mailed a copy. Those will be mailed out in late August. Please make sure you have a mailing address on your profile, and while you are there a valid email and phone number so you receive all future info.
**DUE TO SOME SERIOUS FAMILY ISSUES RON HAS BEEN OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR QUITE SOME TIME. AS SOON AS HE RETURNS WE WILL GET THESE OUT. SORRY FOR THE DELAY. Brian Allison
Wow.. Where to begin?? Have a seat this could take awhile...
I am now living in Cabot, Arkansas, which is just north of Little Rock. Let the jokes begin... lol I have been married now for 5 1/2 years to Kimberly Evans class of 89'. We have a son named Bryce who will be 5 in February and Kamryn Noel who just turned 3 in December.
After graduation, I went to a Junior College in Wyoming to play basketball.. I never was a fan of school as some of you know, and with my stellar grades this was my only choice to keep playing basketball. (Wyoming sucks btw...) I received my 2 year degree and moved to Salt Lake City, UT to live with a girlfriend for the summer. Then on to Lewis and Clark St. College in Idaho to play basketball on another scholarship, lasted 2 semesters until I blew my knee out and my basketball career was over. I then moved back to SLC, got married and went into the management program with Footlocker. After a few months, we were transferred to Bozeman, MT, which doesn't suck, (beautiful) I then went on to manage my own store in Missoula, MT. After 3 years I got tired of working 70+ hours a week, so I quit, and decided to go back to school. We moved back to Bozeman where I went to Montana State University. and started working for Hastings part-time. I am sure most of you have no idea what Hastings is... After graduating, I decided to give Hastings a shot as a career and became a Manager trainee in Wentachee, WA. I also got a divorce before moving.. (another long story.) I spent a year there and then was asked to move to Stephenville, TX to help open up a brand new store. I was there 6 months, then moved to Paris, TX to manage my first store. I spent a year there, then moved on to a bigger store in Wichita Falls, TX. After 2 years I was promoted to my current District Manager position here in Arkansas. I am in charge of 12 stores (8 in AR, 2 in MO, and 2 in TN). I still can't believe it has been 15 years with Hastings sometimes..
For those of you who have never been to Arkansas, it really is a beautiful place. At least it is from Little Rock and to the north. The humidty really sucks though. I have been here 8 years now. Kim and I bought our first house 4 years ago and as you can see we are just starting our family.
I am sure some of you are wondering how Kim and I ended up together.. We stayed in touch every few years through classmates.com. When she found out I was divorced we starting talking more and more. She was living in Sacramento working as a nurse. She came out to Arkansas to see me, then I went out to see her and she moved to Arkansas 3 months later. Kind of crazy, but we are happy. She works at Arkansas Children's Hospital in LR. She is a nurse in the NICU. I have no idea how she does it. All she sees is sick babies all day long..
Well.. There is my life in a short story I guess. I have not kept up with Classmates like I know I should, but I have seen some familiar names on here already..
