Hesperia High School Class of 1988 20th Reunion Dinner
We will have a formal dinner in the Bella Vista Room located on the 103rd Floor of the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas. We will dine in a Private Dining Room overlooking the Las Vegas Valley.
The dinner will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 pm. You will receive VIP entrance to the dinner and Complimentary Admission to the Straosphere's Observation Decks.
The Menu:
California Seasonal Salad
Roasted Chicken Provencal with Garlic Mashed potatoes
Seasonal Vegetables
Tiramisu for dessert – served with Starbucks coffee
One drink ticket per person.
Dress Code Minimum: Business Casual. Guys need a button up shirt and khaki or dress pants A tie is Optional. Gals anything you would wear to the office, or dressy pantsuits, cocktail dress etc. No Swim Wear or Tee Shirts (not even the one that looks like a Tux) Please. I had to say it.. you never know :)
The Stratosphere has opened up some additional space for us. If you were thinking of going please get your check to Renda ASAP as we will need to make a cut off regarding the number of plates that will need to be prepared Mid- June. *****NO REFUNDS*****Once your check has been cashed it goes to pay for your dinner.
We are working on a Pre-Reunion gathering location. We are thinking of a Pub or somewhere where we can meet, catch up and play pool or something. We will let you know what we find.
You will need to book your own rooms. We had just a handful of people who needed to book a room, so those will be On Your Own. I have stayed at the Stratosphere and can tell you it's nice, clean and the staff is friendly. Valet Service is fast and friendly as well.
I am adding people to our Cell Phone List. This will be distributed to you VIA E-mail prior to the reunion so you can locate someone, if you have questions, or just want to get together and do your own site seeing. Also, post questions on our site. There are quite a few alumni who live in Vegas, and I am sure they would be happy to answer questions for you.
We will have a Name List at the door of the dinner. Just bring your ID and we will get everyone checked it, and your Picture Taken for the DVD.
The Airport is NOT MY PERSONAL FAVORITE. Just a heads up.It reminds me of Phoenix. The rental cars are off site and you are bussed out to them. This takes quite a bit of time. It also seems like you have to get clear across the airport to get to the gates??? Maybe it is just me, but I would allow plenty of time. Also, they seem to be doing a lot of road contstruction near there that can also hold you up. Just my observation.
