Moved to San Luis Obispo the summer after HS graduation. Attended Cuesta Community College expecting to be a nuke tech in the Navy. It only took a few dorm parties to change those plans. In 85 attended American River college in Sacramento expecting to get serious about politics, etc. A fake ID and early access to bars changed those plans. Ended up working my way through school back in SLO. Graduated From Cal Poly in 1990 (ahh, the seven year plan!) with a BA in Poli Sci (should have been a BS). Promptly moved to Seattle area and started my own financial services practice. Married my college sweetheart, Heidi. Two kids (connor and rowan) pop out. Things have gone well. My practice has prospered and now I'm fat an comfortable. Moved to Redding in July 04 to down-shift and re-live the small town experience (think Fortuna without the fog). Now I'm doing the whole school board, rotary, country club thing.
No strange and exciting proclivities to report. Kids love lacrosse. I enjoy jogging once or twice a year and riding my fancy mountain bike at least twice every three years or so. Seriously, I do love motorcycles, cigars, scotch, and wine! I love philosophy too. Always willing to discuss metaphysics, epistemology, and axiology (no religion or politics). Love video games too (probably too much). Heidi is now back in school to get her BSN/PA.
Here's a fun fact: about ten years ago I found out I have twin sisters that are about 18 months older. I'll let you ask my mom to explain that one. So I was raised an only child only to find out I'm not only. So I get to add uncle to list of distingished titles.
Lastly, I have to join my friend Byron and ask where the hell Justin Brown is? Dude, put down the pipe and paintbrush and walk your dusty little ass across the bridge once and a while. We all want to see you!
