Well hello to all! I am glad to see that many of you are doing well and happy. I have had an interesting journey, and can't complain. My college football days were cut short by playing arena ball and screwing up my knee, so I went into the advertising business. My ex-wife was from Peoria, IL and she decided to go back there, so that is how I ended up moving here. I got out of the advertising industry to take advantage of a fantastic opportunity to be the sales manager of the oldest and largest I.T. house in downstate IL (They call everything downstate if it is south of Chicago, I guess they never learned much about geography considering the physical boundaries of Illinois, lol). We work with quite a diverse range of companies from giants like Caterpillar Inc. to local mom and pop shops. We set up complete storage/server infrastructures all the way down to tiny little networks, so if you ever need advice or help with your company computer/software situation let me know (I would love to help). I have to say it is fun working with a company that is been around since 1920 (been around almost as long as Arizona has been a state) and learning about all of the history here in Peoria (and boy there sure is a lot of it!). Just an FYI... Peoria, Az. started from settlers from Peoria, Il. For the last 10 years I have been involved in the real estate business. I purchase property and either turn it into rental homes or flip them. I have learned, through much trial and error, how to do most of my own plumbing, electrical and remodeling, so it has been quite the learning experience. At least this way I can continue to tease my parents and the rest of the baby boomers about them using all the social security benefits, and I won't have to worry about it, LOL! Besides working on houses and my “real” job, I really enjoy spending free time at the IVY Club (it is a yacht and boat club) where we cruise the river and have adult beverages, sometimes too many, lol. Anyway, as my profile shows, I have two kids. Justin (JT) turned 15 in May 08, and has really jumped into football and weight lifting. Jayce will be 9 in November, and is your typical girly girl. She loves to go with me to shop for clothes, so we always have fun since I shop for new clothes all most every week! I think I may be ruining it for any guys she ends up meeting as she has acquired an upscale taste in clothing and dining, but "Oh well" I guess that won't be my problem, ha ha. I just see it as having fun with my kids and giving them the opportunity to develop their own tastes and diversities. All of my family still lives in the metro Phoenix area, so I make it back every Christmas at minimum. I would love to see you guys again, so don't hesitate to drop me a line. If you ever make it out to Illinois let me know! I wish you all the best, and am looking forward to seeing you all at the 20 year reunion. Take care!
