Lisa Aklestad Peterson
I've been living in Seattle ever since leaving Alaska after graduation, but do get back to Palmer a few times a year to see family and friends. Eric and I met at a Christmas party in 2000, and were married in April of 2004. Gunnar was born in March of 2005, and keeps us on our toes and laughing every day. Though the Terrible Threes have definitely kicked in.
I've had my own graphic design business since 1997 and am still doing that part time, along with being a full-time mom.
We were back in Palmer this past May to help my mom with my dad's estate, which has been a very difficult thing for our family. But we're hanging in there, just missing Corky a lot.
Not sure when the next trip to Palmer will be. Maybe this winter? Gunnar loves the snow, but his dad LOVES the sun. :)
