Today's Featured Biography
Wendy Eckman Englehardt
Where to start? After graduation I went to a 4-year private college in California. I married my college sweetheart after graduation and then moved to England for 5 months while we awaited our visas to Kenya. We spent 3 1/2 years in Nairobi doing missionary/administrative work around East Africa and had the time of our lives. When that job ended, we moved back to England and then settled in Georgia in 1995.
Sadly, our marriage did not make it and after 8 1/2 years, we divorced. I made a life for myself in GA after the divorce and he moved back to England (his home). For 6 years I worked as an executive assistant for a large commercial real company and bought my first house 4 1/2 years ago.
Last year I met a wonderful man and my soulmate (Scott) who I married on August 5th, 2006, in the Dominican Republic. We had a beautiful, intimate ceremony with 14 friends in attendance. My husband is a financial advisor and I am an executive assistant to the president of our local technical college. We currently live in Lawrenceville, GA. Neither one of us have children but we are tirelessly working on that angle and hope to have good news soon... :) We love to travel and have plenty of opportunity since my sister is married to an Australian and lives on the Gold Coast and my parents and all my relatives live in Wasilla.
I look forward to catching up with everyone!!
