Today's Featured Biography
Suzanne Ross Colver
It's tough to cram 20 years into a few lines! But here goes...
I've been married for 18 years to a wonderful man. My husband, Art, is in the Military. We moved a lot for 10 years (Monterey CA, San Angelo TX, Augsburg, Germany, San Angelo TX, Ft Bragg, NC). Then we accepted a position in Utah in 97, knowing we'd stay here until Art retired.
My parents and older brother all live in Anchorage. My younger brother Eric, passed away 18 months ago. I usually get home about once a year to visit.
I have three kids, Jamie 17, Evan 15 and Jessica 13, and a hairless dog named Maya. They keep me more busy than I would have ever imagined possible!
Life has had some interesting and unexpected twists...
When I was 30, I was diagnoised with Breast Cancer. I've been cancer free for 6 years. It was a life changing event, to say the least. I am much better at letting things go and enjoying the moment now.
I work for the IRS, I am a Management and Personel Assistant. I never decided what I wanted to be when I grew up, but, I actually like what I do.
In my down time, I like to read, play around on my computer and watch the Sci Fi Channel.
My life is not what I ever imagined it would be, but it is rich and full of laughter!
And that is more than I could have ever hoped for!
