Today's Featured Biography
Sheral Huff Kirk
After graduation I worked for the Juneau Police Dept. until Sept. '82 when I moved to Ketchikan. I married Bruce Heck, a State Trooper, in April '83. We did most of the raising of his two children, and had a son of our own in Sept. '84. I worked at the Ketchikan P.D. until our son was born. I then had an in-home daycare for awhile, before going back to work for Mental Health. In Feb. '88 we moved to Palmer, where I again was employed at the P.D. In Sept. '91 we moved to Glennallen. When we divorced in June '94, my son and I moved to Spokane, WA, where we still reside. I went to work for a Chiropractor for 6 years until his death. In January '97, I accompanied my son to Alaska for the funeral of his father (Trooper Heck), and have not returned to Alaska since that time. In Oct. '00 I began employment with Lloyd Herman, a personal injury attorney, as a legal assistant/paralegal, where I am currently employed. My step-son Brian is just wraping up 8 years in the Army, my step-daughter Alisha currently works at Juneau P.D., and Chris will be graduating from H.S. in June 2003.
