Paul Peters

I have been living in MN for about 15 years after a short stint in CA (Santa Ynez valley, San Fernando Valley). Moved to White Bear Lake, MN 11 years ago. Yes almost everyone in MN owns a boat, and I am not an exception especially with so many lakes a stone's throw away. I currently am single and live with 2 dogs. Bishop is the 3 year old bullmastiff and Max is the 12 year old rotweiller. I am a dog lover and have owned 6 over the last 15 years.

I will be unable to make the reunion. I have to work again as I did for the 10 year reunion. Major re-arch of the data center. Not to mention the Roger Waters concert in St. Paul on the 30th! The music has never left me and continue to play in bands, but over the last 10 years it has been difficult to keep up with it.

I have been working in IT for 15 years doing everything from Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Linux, Web Services (2.0), UNIX, Main Frame, and anything on the internet. You name it I have pretty much done it by now. The odd thing about my current position is being owned by the Royal Bank of Canada. There is a large gap in best practices between what I am used to and what they follow. Lots of education opportunites on both sides. I never thought there was that big a culture gap between the US and Canada but there most certainly is.
