Today's Featured Biography
Chris Morales
I attended AFCENT from 1974 thru 1976 and graduated with 61 other classmates in May 1976 at the Brunssum Park Atrium!
For those that know me, I won't bore you with the details of my days spent playing football, chasing girls at the Dorm or downtown, or the endless hours spent at watering holes like the Inder-Noon or Poncho's! After I graduated I was one of a handful of seniors who didn't want to leave Holland to go onto college and most of you can ascertain as to why! Needless to say, I would still be in Holland if the rules would have allowed it! There has never been a greater time spent in my entire life, some 49 years this year, than those I had, cherished, and hold onto, from my days at AFCENT International High School, the DORMS, and the many great families and friends of sponsors in the AFCENT area that opened their homes to a reprobate such as myself!
I have had many opportunities to see a bunch of you at Reunions held in 1988, 2001, 2005, and recently in Dallas this past week (2007)and I want to take this moment to let you all know that if and when it's possible, make every effort to go to one of these events because they are like taking a trip back in a time capsule and you get to relive your youth, if only for a moment, and it is worth every bit of effort that you put into it! I really, really, hope to meet a bunch of you in D.C. in 2008 and again in Austin, TX in 2010 for the next big ALL CLASS REUNION of the AFCENT/AFNORTH Alumni Association! I'll try and keep this bio updated as time permits and if you just want to shoot me an email just to say hello, anyone of you, feel free to do so!
