Today's Featured Biography
Greg Hepburn Jr.
I left Misawa in October of 1989 for Travis AFB in Fairfield, CA. We stayed there for about a year and headed to the midwest, Offut AFB in Bellevue, NE, where I've lived for the past sixteen years.
After I graduated HS in 92 from Bellevue West HS (w/ Erick Strickland- played in the NBA for 9 years), I played basketball for the local college (Bellevue University)until 1996. I graduated with a Human and Social Services Admin bachelor's degree and worked for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Omaha for a few years. More recently, I've almost completed my Master's of Science in Human Services (Aug 2006) and just started working as a Probation Officer. (Shhh, don't tell them I'm crazy like my probationers or they'll fire me!!!)- just our secret. My future plans are to start a gang intervention program and eventually a treatment group home.
I met Meliza (mi corazon)at the Boys and Girls Club, where we worked together. At first I didn't want to talk to her because I knew she was the ONE and I was too busy being a fake playa. Finally the "Club kids" got tired of seeing us flirt all the time and took matters into their own hands (little tricksters). We went on our first date on a Sunday, talked on the phone til like 3 in the morning all week and I moved in with her on the following week. We got married six months later, had Trey(Fire) in Aug 2001 and Chucky(Ice)in Feb 2003(18 months & 1 day apart- I'm sure you can imagine my household). I've been truly blessed in this world and I just continue to enjoy life.
