Today's Featured Biography
Rhonda Butler Savoy
After Misawa, I moved to NAS Whidbey Island,WA.
Attended a local college- went to Nursing School -graduated in 1982. Afterwards, I worked in a small nursing home, then did Home Health and Hospice.During that time I married a Marine....one stepdaughter, Shawna, I had a son, Michael in 1988. Divorced in 1992, and moved to Arkansas.
Since coming to Arkansas, I have worked with profoundly retarded youth and young adults at a residential school. Socially, I have been a "sports mom", active with PTO and Booster Club,all the youth clubs at church, and for the past 6 years, very involved with the Boy Scouts. I am an Assistant Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, and on the District Committee---but most importantly--Mom to an Eagle Scout!
Now, that my son has graduated, I am still active with Scouts and church, but am ready to have a few moments for me!!
I attended the San Antonio Reunion--and hope to make it for another!
Prior to Misawa, I lived in Key West,FL; Albany,GA;Keflavik,Iceland;Ratcliff,AR;Whidbey Island,WA; Agana,Guam; Mumford,TN; Midway Island; and Santa Paula, CA. I attended 13 different schools K-12 and loved every minute of it!!
