Today's Featured Biography
John Steele
Hello All. I think this site is great and the ones who have been keeping it up should be commended. I left Wiesbaden after my freshman year but still have great memories from there. Although as most military brats, we seem to lose touch with the great friends we make during our short stays. It is great to go through and see where people are and the successful lives all have lived. As for me, after I left Wiesbaden, I returned to Fort Worth, TX (Carswell AFB since closed) and finished high school in Fort Worth. Went on to college in Oklahoma and those of you who remember probably guess that I continued in sports and played baseball there. Enjoyed great success and forged my life now with my experiences through college. After college kept playing baseball until I couldn't make a living at it and did what all athletes do who can let go and got into coaching. Coached baseball for several years at a college in Ft. Worth. From there dabbled in professional baseball coaching with the Texas Rangers for several years before moving into private business. Met my wife of 9 years, Stephanie in Arlington, TX. I have since moved into the world of fraud investigation where I now run a national company based out of Dallas. I recently moved to Charlotte, NC, as I just can't get that live in one place for too long thing out of my sytem. I hope anyone out there that remembers me shoots me an email sometime. I travel all over the country and would love to catch up. I truly cherish the time I spent in Wiesbaden. I still think of it as a place where we all got to learn about life and grew up as the things we were able to experience, were not available stateside and young adults now as we were then would never have the freedoms and abilities to do the same things, which is sad. But nontheless, kudos to everyone making this site so great and I hope people continue to particpate as this is great! Take care everyone and hope to see you around!
