I figured it was time to put the long bio out to pasture…those of you who were interested must of read it by now…lol
As for an update, after completing my mission in Florida with getting my sister and her business back on track, as well as encountering some US immigration challenges, I ultimately decided to return to Montreal and continue building my vintage and collectible clothing business. Worked my tail off for the last few years, but it’s all been worth it as things are going extremely well. I am truly blessed to be doing something I thoroughly enjoy and I can tell you being a full-time ebayer is a pretty neat way to make a living. I just returned from my first successful buying trip down south and my plans are to take several of these trips a year as I think it’s a pretty cool way to combine business with pleasure as I love to travel. Lastly I am planning on opening a dual office/retail location within the next year or two, how fast depending upon when I find the right situation. I can’t wait for that as I consider myself sort of an art dealer, with clothing as the art form, and I’ve accumulated quite the collection. I am so looking forward to putting that collection on display for others to enjoy and acquire. I’ll keep yall posted so you can come visit me!!
***Update***...Well it happened sooner than later...My office/store is now open in Pierrefonds, located at 15430 Pierrefonds, Blvd. Suite #224. Just west of Jacques Bizard in the same shopping center as the Domino's pizza (on the second floor). Feel free to visit me!! Store hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
As for my personal life, I have been seeing a really sweet gal for a little while now. Because of my past, I tend to be quite cautious in relationships and I am not looking too far down the road. But I can tell you it has been really nice to connect with someone again. This time around I find myself very much appreciating the little moments like a nice dinner together or a good laugh. I guess I took these moments for granted in the past, but now they seem so much more amplified and enjoyable. I find myself just stopping and soaking them all in. This may sound sappy, but these little moments make me really happy, they really do.
The rest of my free time is spent with my parents who are my best friends and playing soccer, which I am still so passionate about…Forza Italia!! World Champs Baby!!!
Finally I must say that the 20th reunion was one hell of a party…so much fun. For those of you who skipped it cuz you hated highschool, I totally hear ya. I wasn’t too fond of highschool either so I know what you mean. But we’ve all grown up now, the bs is long gone…the 25th will just be some 40 something’s getting to be kids again for a night, now how is that not fun?!!!…and besides, haven’t you heard??…40’s are the new 20’s!!
