BIO COURTESY OF CLASSMATES.COM: I married Doug Watson in 1976 and we have two beautiful daughters, aged 28 and 25. Celebrated our 30th anniversary in April 2006 and took a golf/visiting/wine tasting holiday around B.C. to see a lot of friends who have moved up country - did Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Oysoyoos, Vernon, Lumby, Christina Lake and Ione Washington. We have lived in Ocean Park for 20 years and love it here. We have our summer place at Birch Bay where we love to Kayak, golf, fish & crab, and get together with our friends down there as well as have friends & family down for weekends. It's the best stress reliever in the world and it doesn't require a prescription!! Doug is working for a restoration company and I just quit my MOA job ( currently looking for work). My parents live close by and so do Rick and Wayne. Howie is in Point Roberts/Ladner and Gerry is in Kelowna. Doug lost his mom 30 years ago and his dad in 94. His sister still lives in Spokane and they have a place in Coal Harbour so we see them a few times a year. I would love to see if there is interest in a re-union encompassing 70-72 so if anyone is interested lets get started. Cheers! jw School I have a lot of fun and wonderful memories of NDSS.... lunch hours -walking down to Richardson corner store with Regina, Joyce, Deb, Janice, Paddi, Doug, Ralph, Bill, Leo, Al, Pam, Pearl,Ron, Bill,Marilyn or many other friends over the years( I have the photos!)...Sledding at nite down at the bottom of 80th, hangin out at Annieville Park, Centre Street Parties, school dances and basketball games, football cheerleading near the boys and girls club, when they put the road thru on 116th and we could walk all the way home thru the "wilderness"...working with Marji and Reg and Lillian at the Patio (*remember Jet burgers??), going to the "Luxury freeze" for blueberry sundaes ,Scott town and Kennedy being the only shopping unlesss we took the bus to New West (whoo-hoo!), walking to Guildford (the new 'mall' )with Pam when her mom worked at Woodwards (took us 2 hours!), not being allowed to wear pants to school until grade 12 (unless it was winter and we could wear them walking to school but had to change as soon as we got there), a GB 12 field trip to Vancouver courthouse (Karen and Alice were a riot), Lee Jeans, "deck shoes", House games, grade 12 club, pep rallies, teachers "Bessie", Lelievre, Terris, Stewardsons, Taylor (now Edwards),Samphire, etc etc....don't know how they put up with us??!! I now know in my old age (and wisdom LOL) why they call them the "good ole days".....good memories..... Workplace After highschool I worked for the BC Forest Service at the Marine Building downtown and then worked retail before going to BCIT for Office upgrading and started with CZ Stores where I worked in the Head Office till 1979. After kids were more independent I went to work part time at a local drug store and then went to work for Peace Portal Golf Course (First female to ever work in the Pro shop there ) was a tough go cutting thru the "old boys club" mentality but I enjoyed it for 7 years till working every weekend took its toll......I then took a Medical Office Assistant course and started work for a local GP and then for a local chiropractor. I am now working for myself doing senior home care ( housework, errands, etc.) Gives me time to golf and visit my girls who both live on the island now :_(( ..Unless my numbers come up on 649 I see myself doing this for at least 10 more years..........moan......
Update 2021: retired and moved to Chilliwack last year. Bigger yard and gardens. Still golfing which I love. One daughter now in Seattle with a boy and a girl, we love being grandparents although with Covid still a factor and borders closed we dont get to see them except at Peace arch park. Other daughter lives in our basement suite which we love. Having her close is wonderful! Hope everyone comes through this pandemic safe and healthy and that we can actually have a 50 year reunion sometime soon.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
